Check out the college resources section for a review of DormItem.com. A good friend of mine, Dan Scudder, started this website and has since had over 15,000 items posted. It’s a great place to sell your futon, refrigerator, TV or textbooks and make a little quick cash. Although the design is not revolutionary, the technology behind DormItem is pretty impressive. Dan built a very impressive search system that makes finding items a breeze based on your search terms and college location.
