Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest

Overview: Ayn Rand’s objective philosophy and love of capitalism leaves most readers either in awe or fury. Her opinions are as strong as the characters in her stories. Personally, I am a big fan Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead. For those daring and dedicated enough to complete both books (collectively edging near 2000 pages of reading), the Ayn Rand Institute offers a very generous scholarship.

Requirements/Details: The Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest is open to all undergraduate students. The essay will be based on the student’s grasp of the philosophic meaning of the book “Atlas Shrugged.” Complete contest guidelines are available on the Web site.
