Blogging For Progress Scholarship
Overview: The idea behind ProgressiveU is to get students communicating about issues that matter beyond their social lives. They do this through individual blog posts that are then shared throughout the community. In an effort to attract more students to the website and to help increase the awareness of the central issues amongst their community, ProgressiveU has setup a scholarship contest. Here are the details:
Requirements/Details: Students enrolled in accredited universities and colleges must sign up for membership on the ProgressiveU website. Activity, such as blogging, will result in points that are accumulated throughout the contest, which are totaled at the end.
Deadline: June 30th 2007
Award: (1) $1000 one-time scholarship and (2) $500 one-time scholarships
