As a student traveler, I know how important a good deal on plane tickets is. I came across Kayak.com while hunting for the lowest possible priced tickets and must say how easy this site makes the hunt. Kayak.com acts as a giant search engine for flight, hotel, cruises and car rental accommodations. They search through dozens of providers such as Delta, British Airways, American Airways, Southwest Airlines and many more. The results are specifically tailored to your trip, which means you can search by airport, date, time, budget and number of layovers during flight. I am pretty impressed with their results and have used them to book my past two flights. Since they are only a search engine, any issues you might have with your booking would be handled by the actual airline that you purchased tickets from.

Kayak’s good. I’m personally a bigger fan of Sidestep. Prices are the same if not a little better than Kayak. I’ve found some dead links on Kayak. I also enjoy the travel information available on Sidestep. Either way, it’s good you’re looking at meta search for your options instead of the big online travel agencies.
